CITY OF BELVIDERE CHRISTMAS TREE
Each year a local family donates a tree for the Belvidere Hometown Christmas celebration.
The 2022 tree was donated by Cory and Nikki Dovenmuehle. The 30-foot Balsam Fir needed to be trimmed to help the trees near it thrive, so donating it to the city helped ensure the well-being of the neighboring tree.

The city of Belvidere partners with a local crane company to safely remove the tree from the property and deliver it to downtown Belvidere.
Join us after the Hometown Christmas Parade for the lighting of the tree.
The Parade kicks off at 5:30. We expect the tree lighting ceremony to begin around 6 pm.
